Free Cacao Ceremony Video: Shamanic Journey to Meet the Mountain Spirits

This August New Moon, we will Journey with Gongs and Cacao (optional). I will guide you on a shamanic journey to connect with the spirit of the mountains. I invite you to set you own intentions for this journey, choose a mountain you would like to connect with, you may ask the Mountains for help with your manifestation magic, healing, or wisdom.

This guided shamanic gong journey is inspired by a recent trip to Peru, where we spent most of our time in the mountains surrounding the sacred valley and Machu Picchu, guided by local shamans in sacred ceremonies to connect with the mountain spirits also called 'apus'. I felt so at home there, I want to return as soon as I can, but in the meantime, let us journey together in spirit and connect with the mountains in the next best way!

The Apus, mountain spirits, hold the wisdom of the Earth. It is said when we die, we leave our knowledge, our wisdom, our gifts in the mountain peaks. The Apus are guardians of this wisdom, and when we connect with them they are able to share this wisdom with us.

You could choose to journey to Peru, or another special place you have always wanted to visit, or perhaps a mountain you have been to. I recently enjoyed connecting with the Welsh mountains of Snowdonia in spirit, and I met with Cader Idris where I hiked as a teenager. It was wonderful to reconnect with this landscape along with my mission was to reconnect with gifts and knowledge. The spirit of this mountain was a humorous, sharp witted teacher for me.

Perhaps you would like to remember and reclaim your gifts from your previous lives, gather wisdom or accrue power. The Apus also offer protection and divine justice if you need support in this way. I certainly felt very safe and energised in amongst those mountain peaks!

When we travel in spirit to the mountains we are not necessarily going into a different spiritual reality, such as the upper or lower realms. We may go into the upper realms to meet spirit guides, or deeper into the earth through a cave to meet our power animals, or stay in the middle realm with our spirit guides the Apus. Let spirit guide you, and trust you will be led to the best place to receive the medicine you are calling for at this time.

The gongs and cacao will enhance your shamanic brain in its ability to connect deeply into different levels of awareness, going from Beta consciousness, through to alpha, theta and delta, the day-dream states where we are still awake yet able to vision as if in a dream. To awaken and to see with your shamanic brain what is all around us all the time, yet invisible to most of us with our eyes open. And of course, I will guide you home fully to your body again, so you can integrate the experience and bring home the gifts and wisdom to your everyday reality.
